Police at Walthamstow Stadium after the attack
THE victim of an attack at Walthamstow Stadium yesterday was working as a security guard at the site, police have confirmed.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, suffered head injuries at about 9.40am on May 14.
He remains in hospital with serious injuries after being found inside the stadium.
No arrests have been made.
The site is set to be turned into a controversial 294-home housing development by owners London & Quadrant (L&Q) after planning permission was granted last week.
