ONE half of Cockney music legends, ‘Chas & Dave’, dropped into a children’s hospice for a surprise jamming session.
Chas Hodges, was at the Haven House Hospice in Woodford Green last Wednesday, May 9, and entertained children and nurses with some of his hits.
After the jamming session, Chas was given a tour of the hospice.
He said: "I was bowled over by my visit to the hospice, the work they do there is just remarkable.
“Playing music for the kids and their families was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.”
Chas was at Haven House ahead of Children’s Hospice Week which begins on Friday (May 18).
He has recorded a charity song with several top darts players to raise money for the hospice.
'Got my Tickets for the Darts' is available to download from iTunes now.
