A LIVE blog will provide coverage of tonight's decision on the future of Walthamstow Stadium car park.
Check the Guardian website later this evening (May 16) for live updates as Waltham Forest Council decides whether to approve or reject a plan to turn the site into a bus depot.
HCT Group wants the depot proposed for Chingford Road, Chingford, to operate between 4.30am and 2am but neighbours feel the noise will be too much, while they are angry at the lack of staff parking spaces on the site, believing their roads will be clogged up by the estimated 270 employees.
More than 100 people have objected to the plan yet it is recommended for approval.
However the bus operator would have to check for unexploded bombs, stipulated the council, after the area was heavily bombed in World War Two.
Police are expected to attend the town hall meeting after councillors feared for their safety last week at another meeting, where a controversial 294-home housing estate was approved for the stadium.
The blog will also bring you the debates over and decisions on a number of other applications.
They include a 344-home housing development recommended for approval in Billet Road, Walthamstow.
The meeting is set to begin at 7.40pm at Waltham Forest Town Hall, in Forest Road, Walthamstow.
