CHAMPAGNE will greet customers at a charity shop celebrating 20 years of work in the community.
The Cancer Research UK shop on George Lane, South Woodford will mark the anniversary of its opening on May 25 by offering the first 20 customers through the doors a glass of bubbly.
There will also be £3 gift vouchers on offer to the first 20 people to spend £10 or more at the shop which will open at 10am on the day.
Redbridge’s new Mayor, Muhammed Javed, will be in attendance to cut a birthday cake at around 10.30am.
And there will be a chance to bid on a patchwork blanket knitted by volunteers from wool donated to Cancer Research.
The birthday celebrations round off with a plant sale on May 26.
