A BOTANIST will be leading tours throughout the summer to identify the district’s wild flowers.
Ken Adams, who is Botanical Society of the British Isles Recorder for Essex, will be setting off into the fields from Epping London Underground Station at 7pm every Tuesday to record flowers for the society’s new Atlas of Essex Wild Flowers.
Mr Adams will show people how to identify and record the flowers to be found on the walks.
It is free to participate and for more information and to book a place call Epping Forest District Council’s Countrycare team on 01992 788201 or visit www.eppingforestdc.gov.uk/countrycare.
Alternatively, call Mr Adams on 020 8508 7863.
