GENERATIONS came together to celebrate a scout group's 90th anniversary.
Around 230 members past and present of Chingford 15th Scouts met at Gilwell Park in Bury Road in Chingford to mark the occasion.
In attendance was Denys Favre, 95, who was a member of the group in the 1920s.
Group president Michael Freeman, 76, said: "It was an excellent weekend, I'm glad to report.
"The key word of all scouting clubs is fun and hopefully people did enjoy themselves a lot.
"We had some old pictures which people reminisced over but the main point was not a lot has changed over all this time: scouts are still learning the same skills."
Mr Freeman, who has been involved with the group himself since the age of eight, added: "It was lovely to have Denys along, and a lot of older members met up after years of not seeing each other."
The event took place on May 19.
