POLICE issued six speeding tickets to motorists going over 30 miles per hour during a targeted operation on Saturday.
Sergeant Ian Watts of the Wanstead Safer Neighbourhood Team, told a Council committee meeting last night (May 21), that officers had issued the tickets on Overton Drive.
He added: “The tickets were issued to motorists who were going significantly faster than the 30mph speed limit.
“People can email us and tell us about their road and we will come to you with our speed gun.”
