A CHARITY is asking people to put on their thinking caps to raise money for ill and disabled children.

The Dream Factory charity is holding a quiz night at the Lakeside Suite, Fairlop Waters, Forest Road, Barkingside, on Saturday, June 16.

The Dream Factory founder, Avril Mills, said: “This will be a great evening with people able to show off their general knowledge and raise money for the charity at the same time!

“We rely on our fundraising events to generate money which we can then spend on making dreams come true for ill children and young adults.

“It would be great to see some new faces who are interested in supporting The Dream Factory.”

The evening kicks off at 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

Tickets cost £12 and include a fish and chips or chicken and chips supper.

Call Ruth Clark on 020 8518 1743 for more information or to book tickets.

The charity will also be having a stall in the family area at the Duke of Essex Polo event at Gaynes Park, Epping, on Saturday, July 14.

Tickets are now on sale for the charity’s black tie charity ball at The Prince Regent Hotel, Manor Road, Woodford Bridge, on Saturday, November 24.

Tickets for the ball are priced at £75 per head and available from Avril Mills on 07712 619726.

The Dream Factory was founded in January 2008 by Avril Mills after her son, Oliver, aged nine, died from leukaemia.
