YOUNG virtuosos showcased their musical ability to raise hundreds for a local church.
The sextet from Chigwell School performed pieces by Buxtehude, Handel and Debussy at the concert in St John’s Church, St John’s Road, Epping, on Saturday, May 19.
Money raised from the concert will be used to build a new hall and community space next to the church.
The church’s Director of Music, Simon Winters, said: "It was fantastic to hear such talented and musical performances and for the students to have the opportunity to perform outside the school environment.”
