THERE will be a chance to learn about the present and past of policing in the district at a fun day next month.

Staff at Epping Forest District Museum in Sun Street, Waltham Abbey, will be showing visitors historic police vehicles, conducting tours of the museum’s collection of police artefacts and showing visitors around Waltham Abbey Police Station on Saturday, June 16.

Representatives from local police safer neighbourhoods teams and history societies will be on hand to answer questions.

The event is free and will start at 12pm and end at about 2pm.
