A CHILDREN'S charity shop has been refurbished.
The Barnado's store in High Street, Barkingside, was closed for two days before opening on Wednesday (May 23) with a new look.
The first 25 customers through the door were given a goodybag.
Area manager Diane Green said: "It's all about getting more interest from customers, getting more donations and keeping interest in the store and the charity."
Branch manager Debbie Westwood said: "We would like to say a big thank you to all of our loyal customers for their patience during the re-merchandising and welcome them back.
"The re-merchandising has given the shop a fresh modern look and will make the shopping experience much better for existing customers, while attracting new ones."
The shop has increased its stock from 500 display items to 1500.
Money raised in the shop goes towards enhancing the quality of life for children and young people with disabilities living in Redbridge.
