POLICE arrested three men and seized 17 vehicles after an operation targeting uninsured drivers yesterday.

A 49-year-old man was arrested in Leyton yesterday (May 24) on suspicion of driving a stolen vehicle as the police carried out Operation Cubo, in which they stopped 352 motorists around Waltham Forest.

He was seen by officers in Staffa Road, who followed him until they reached Ruckholt Road, where he was pulled over and arrested.

The man has been released on bail until July.

Two other men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and for possession of what are believed to be Class A drugs.
