A CONMAN stole a four-figure sum of cash by pretending to be a water board worker.
The man, aged in his 30s, talked his way into a house in Hillyfields, Loughton, by claiming he needed to check the water pressure.
After he left it was discovered cash and a silver charm bracelet were missing.
It happened at around 10.50am on Friday March 23 but police have only just released details and an efit of their suspect.
The suspected is described as white, about five foot ten tall, has a medium build and short dark hair.
