CHILDREN dressed up as Kings, Queens and even Cleopatra as part of a week celebrating the Diamond Jubilee.
Cranbrook Primary School, on The Drive, Ilford, became a sea of crowns and tiaras yesterday (May 28) as the children learnt all about the British monarchy.
Deputy Headteacher, Helen Radmore, said: "This was the start of a week of Jubilee celebrations.
"The children had a really great time and learnt a lot."
Other celebrations later on in the week will include a special Jubilee lunch, a street party in the school and a parade around nearby streets dressed in red, white and blue.
