THE Volunteers Team at Whipps Cross Hospital is hosting a fun day in the grounds of the Leytonstone site next Wednesday (June 6).
Held between 10am and 3pm in car park two, it will feature stalls, refreshments, face painting and other activities for all the family.
There will also be a children's storytelling session between 1pm and 2pm.
The 200-strong Volunteer Team, who help out year-round at the hospital, are holding the event to celebrate both National Volunteers Week and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Chandra Vansadia, Volunteer Manager, said: “The event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a special national occasion and show support for a very dedicated group of people who freely give their time for the good of the hospital and local community.”
