FOUR people have been charged with the murder of a teenager found dead on a Woodford Green estate.
The body of Luke Harwood, 18, from Havering, was found close to the playing fields in Broadmead Road, near the Orchard Estate, at 10.40pm on Monday, May 28.
A post-mortem examination found he had died from severe head injuries.
James Danby, 26, of no fixed address, Tony O'Toole, 29, Emma Hall, 20, and Kahalid Hassan, 19, all of Crow Lane in Romford, have been charged with his murder and will appear before Redbridge Magistrates Court later today (May 31).
They have also been charged with perverting the course of justice, which Billy Duggan, 20, of the same address, has also been accused of.
It is believed the victim was involved in a fight before he died.
Police were keen to trace the whereabouts of a blue Fiat Punto seen in Courtland Close or activity near the bridge in Chigwell Road from Sunday evening through to Monday night.
