FIVE cars were damaged and two drivers hurt when concrete was thrown from a bridge onto the A406 North Circular.
Police say they were called at 3.20am this morning (Friday June 1) to reports of debris being thrown from a railway bridge near the Waterworks roundabout - thought to be the one by Hale End Road in Walthamstow.
One driver suffered serious chest injuries, while another had their arm broken and shoulder dislocated.
They are both being treated in hospital.
There are still lane closures this lunchtime while police investigate.
