A SERIES of musical treats will entertain audiences in Waltham Abbey throughout July.
As part of the town's musical festival, Young Performers' Platforms will present two Wednesday evening concerts at the Abbey Church.
Violinist Mathilde Milwidsky and flautist Daniel Shao will perform on July 11, with saxophonist Mark Hurrell and harpist Rosanna Rolton taking the spotlight on July 18. Both concerts will begin at 6pm.
On Saturday (July 14), Waltham Abbey Town Council will host a Hot Club of France-style jazz night at the Cornmill Suite, featuring the Morellos Jazz Trio.
Tickets, at £12 or £100 for a table of 10, are available from the Tourist Information Centre on 01992 660336.
The festival will be brought to a close by the Fitzwilliam Quartet, who will perform Schubert, Shostakovich and Delius at Copped Hall on Saturday (July 22) at 6pm.
