LOUGHTON: Police hold man over killing of 39-year-old
POLICE continue to question a man being held on suspicion of murdering a 39-year-old woman.
The woman was stabbed to death in a house in Churchfields, Loughton, at about 6.30am on Sunday (July 8).
The 30-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is in custody at Harlow police station.
A post-mortem examination has found the woman died of a single stab wound.
A formal identification of her body is expected to take place today (Tuesday).
