A LORRY has crashed into a house in Gants Hill.
The crash happened in Eastern Avenue, between Beehive Lane and the Redbridge Roundabout, earlier this afternoon.
Roger Radford, 65, of nearby Danehurst Gardens said: "The driver hit this car, spinning it around, and then careered across the central reservation and straight into a house.
"Some were saying he could have had a heart attack."
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said crews were called to the scene of the crash at around 1.15pm.
They treated a 76-year-old woman for head wounds and took her to Queen's Hospital in Romford.
They also treated a man in his fifties for an injury to his hand.
He was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital.
The road is currently closed in both directions.
Buses 66, 145 and 366 are on diversion.
