PUPILS have been rewarded for their hard work and achievements at Oaklands School's annual prize-giving.
Epping Forest MP Eleanor Laing was guest of honour at the ceremony on Thursday (July 5), which was held in a marquee in the grounds of the Loughton school.
She awarded the prizes and spoke to pupils, parents and staff.
Headteacher Cheryl Macnair, who took up her post last September, said: "This was my first prize giving as headmistress. It was a lovely afternoon with so many family and friends supporting and celebrating the children’s achievements."
