A POLICE investigation into the death of a man found hanging from a tree in Walthamstow Town Square has concluded that no-one else was involved.
The man, aged in his early 40s, was found close to Central Library and the post office by the High Street at 11.55pm on Wednesday July 4.
He was rushed to Whipps Cross Hospital but despite the efforts of staff he was pronounced dead an hour later.
In the aftermath, police told the Guardian that the death was being treated as unexplained.
But in a statement today a Met spokesman said officers had now concluded the death was non-suspicious.
Police are not releasing the man's identity or any further details.
