A MEMORIAL will mark 40 years since the tragedy of the Munich Massacre in 1972.
The event will take place at Sinclair House, The Redbridge Jewish Youth and Community Centre, in Woodford Bridge Road, Clayhall, on Sunday July 29.
Readings, pictures and a youth presentation will mark 40 years since the massacre at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.
A group of eight Palestinian terrorists broke into the Olympic Village and took nine Israeli athletes, coaches and officials hostage in their apartments.
Two hostages were killed immediately and the rest were killed in a rescue attempt.
The memorial will start at 3pm and is free for all to attend.
