SEVERAL walks around Wanstead Park have been orgnised by Friends of Wanstead Parklands.
The Big Wanstead Park Walk, will start on Sunday (July 22) and will take walkers on a two hour stroll around the surviving historic features of Wanstead Park.
Starting at 11am at St Mary's Church in Overton Drive, Wanstead, the walks will run for the next three Sundays in a row.
The slighter shorter introductory walks will begin on Tuesday (July 24) and will run for the next three Tuesdays afterwards.
The walk will include some key features of the park and will end at the Temple.
Walkers are to meet at the car park in the Warren Road, Wanstead, entrance at 11am.
The walks will take place whatever the weather.
