CHINGFORD: Nobody charged over double shooting three months on
THOSE responsible for a double shooting which shocked the community remain at large.
Bullets were fired at two homes on the Chingford Hall estate in overnight attacks in April, sparking fears of a resurgence of gang warfare in the area.
No-one was injured but former borough commander, Steve Wisbey, vowed to bring those reponsible to justice.
There have been no charges in connection with the attacks in Hazel Way and Russell Road on April 25 and no further action will be taken against two men arrested soon after the shootings, police have confirmed.
