THE former managing editor of News of the World has been charged with conspiring to hack into the phones of famous figures including Sven-Goran Eriksson.
Stuart Kuttner, 71, who lives near High Road in Woodford Green, has been accused of three counts of conspiring to intercept voicemails between October 2000 and August 2006.
He is charged along with other NoW figures including Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson with hacking into the voicemail of schoolgirl Milly Dowler, who was abducted and killed in 2002.
He is also charged with intercepting the voicemail of David Blunkett MP.
He and the six other people charged are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 16.
