THE winners at the annual Walthamstow International Film Festival are set to be announced.
Eight of the 15 filmmakers on this year's shortlist hail from Waltham Forest and will have their work showcased alongside artists from Finland, Spain and Austria.
The films include Thomas Bloor's 'The Forest Bride', an animated puppet re-enactment of a classic myth, and Otis Tree's 'Action Movie' set in the borough.
The winners will be chosen on September 7 by a panel of judges including critic David Jenkins, producer Kate Vogel and local director Barry Bliss.
The festival is now in its third year.
The films will be screened on September 8 and September 15 at the Vestry House Museum in Vestry Road between 1pm and 5pm.
They will also shown at Lotolie Family Hairdressers in Orford Road on September 9 and September 16 at the same times.
