A CHILDREN'S hospice is calling on marathon runners to race for them.
Last year nine people from the area raced in the London Marathon and raised hundreds of pounds for Haven House Children's Hospice in High Road, Woodford Green.
Applicants will now be finding out if they secured a place in the marathon and will be able to choose a charity to support.
Chief Executive of the hospice Mike Palfreman said: "Haven House does so much for life-limited children and their families in the area and it would be great to see local runners supporting us at an event as high profile as the London marathon."
For more information about how you can fundraise for Haven House email events@havenhouse.org.uk or call 020 8506 3637.
