CHIGWELL: Burst water main closes road
EMERGENCY repairs are being carried out to fix a burst water main in Chigwell.
The burst water main between High Road and Manor Road has forced the closure of Hainault Road.
The closure is also affecting Station Road to Chigwell tube station, which is shut east bound.
Bus route 167, which runs from Debden to Ilford through Chigwell, is on diversion to avoid the closed roads.
The roads are expected to be closed for the rest of today while the repairs are carried out.
