A RIDER is recovering in hospital after being thrown from her horse.
Paramedics were called shortly before 11am yesterday after a woman in her late 40s fell from a horse on a track opposite the Kings Oak hotel in High Beach.
The rider injured her left shoulder, side and lower back and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.
An East of England Ambulance Service Trust spokesman said her injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
Herts Air Ambulance also attended the scene.
