WALTHAMSTOW: Stabbed man taken to hospital
A MAN has been taken to hospital after being stabbed this morning in Walthamstow.
Police were called to Marten Road at 8.20am to find a man suffering with stab wounds.
He was taken to an east London hospital.
A woman was also found suffering with head wounds and was taken to an east London hospital.
A second man suffering with injuries was arrested in connection with the incident.
Ages and conditions of the people involved have not yet been released.
Chingford Road between Brookscroft Road and Forest Road is closed in both directions while police investigate the stabbing.
Bus routes 34, 97, 215 and 357 are on diversion to avoid the closed road.
