A WOMAN has died after her car caught fire in a head-on collision.
Her Volkswagon Polo and a Ford Galaxy taxi collided head-on at around 3.20am this morning on Epping Road, between the Wake Arms roundabout and the turning for Upshire.

She has not been formally identified, but is believed to be in her forties and from Epping.
Her next of kin have been informed.
The 48-year-old male driver of the taxi suffered minor injuries, as did his two passengers.
All three were taken to hospital to be checked out and were released later this morning.
The taxi driver from east London has been arrested in connection with the collision and will be questioned by police about the crash.
