MUSIC lessons will get a hi-tech spin after a school received a cheque for £1,500 to buy two computers.
Wanstead High School in Redbridge Lane West, Wanstead was presented with the cheque by Roger Davis of Ford Europe.
The money will be spent on two iMacs which will be used for composition work, research by students as part of their Music Technology courses.
Ian Sweet, head of music at Wanstead High, said: “This funding is really appreciated as it means that all of our BTEC students will have individual access to the best equipment available to support them in their work.”
The grant was provided by the Ford Britain Trust which was set up in 1975 for the advancement of education and charitable activities.
