ABRIDGE: Plans for Guy Fawkes Night to go with a bang
FIREWORKS are set to be heard over Abridge on November 3 in the first professional display there for several years.
The Guy Fawkes Night celebrations will take place from 6pm, with two rounds of fireworks starting from 8pm on the village hall field in Ongar Road.
There will be a ceremonial burning of Guys, as well as a fun fair, food stalls and a bar.
Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children and any profits will go towards the village’s Christmas lights fund.
