Argentina plays France as the two sides battle it out for the famous trophy live from Lusail stadium in the Qatar World Cup this weekend.

Despite still mourning the losses of the home sides, Sunday's final is sure to be a nail-biter.

How many times has Argentina won the World Cup?

Argentina has won the World Cup on two previous occasions.

They triumphed in both 1978 and 1986 but the Argentinian side has actually been the runner-up multiple times. 

They have been the runners-up on three occasions including in 1930, 1990 and more recently in 2014.

How many times has France won the World Cup?

France has also won the World Cup twice in 1998 and 2018. 

The French side hosted the 1998 tournament and beat Brazil 3-0.

In 2018 - the last World Cup - France was once again victorious after the team scored 4-2 against Croatia.
