Walkers has teased the release of the new flavour of crisps which looks set to be in collaboration with Heinz.

Walkers are responsible for a range of products including Wotsits, Quavers, Monster Munch, Squares and Bugles as well as their various ranges like Max and Sensations.

The crisp giant has already released several new products in 2024.

In February, it added two new flavours to its Sensations range - Mature Cheddar and Chilli Chutney and Crushed Sea Salt & Black Peppercorn.

Then just a few weeks later shoppers spotted brand new Extra Flamin Hot Crunchy Wotsits in UK supermarkets.

Meanwhile, in July, Walkers launched a new range of Wotsits and Monster Munch crisps, made with chickpea.

Walkers teases release of new crisp flavour

Walkers has now teased the release of another new crisp flavour, which looks to be a collaboration with Heinz.

On Monday (August 5), Walkers Crisps posted on X (formerly Twitter) saying: "Something's coming. Tap for a teaser...(looking eyes emoji)."

The post contained a picture of simply a red screen with Heinz being tagged in the post.

Walkers fans have taken to the social media post in an attempt to guess what the new flavour might be.

One person, commenting on X, said: "Ketchup crisps coming back one assumes."

To which Walkers replied: "Who's to say."

While another user commented: "Bring baked bean flavour and I will be keen!"

Most people have said the new flavour will be tomato sauce, with other guesses including tomato soup and McDonald's.

Tomato ketchup flavoured crisps were previously a part of Walkers range, but were discontinued back in December 2023.
