Eton Manor trounced Diss with a resounding performance as they went home with a 32-0 victory.
Manor flew out of the blocks in the first 20 minutes, playing powerful rugby and dominating the set-piece.
It wasn’t long before the visitors opened their account. After securing lineout ball near to their opponent’s line, a strong and controlled drive saw Alfie Hutchinson touch down for 5-0.
Manor’s hunger at the breakdown was matched by pace and precision in the backs and the excellent Chris Jones was released out wide to score the team’s second try in the corner.
Alex Hunter and another score for Hutchinson put Manor in the driving seat at half time as they led Diss 20-0.
The second half, while not as explosive as the first, saw Manor retain a grip on proceedings.
The visitors continued to draw in the Diss defence with strong forward play before exploiting the overlaps out wide.
Further tries by Chris Jones and Michael Eghan, one of which was converted by Max Murray, rounded off the scoring in what was Manor’s best performance of the season so far.
Manor’s next match sees them host undefeated league leaders Bury St Edmunds in a crucial top of the table clash.
