Wadham Lodge ran riot at Heybridge Swifts Reserves in the second round of the Essex Premier Cup last weekend with a 9-1 victory.
Jermaine McClean’s impressive hat-trick as well as a double from Marcus Samuels and futher goals from Ricky White, Leon Wilson, Sonny Lindsay and Sayeed Ahmed made sure of Wadham Lodge’s place in the next round.
Chingford Athletic lost 8-3 to Hannakins Farm with Chris Gormley, Antony Aylett and Sam Raven all bagging two each while Luke Eatwell and Ben Swift chipped in with a goal apiece.
Aldborough Athletic lost 2-0 at home to Frenford Senior who progress thanks to goals from Danny Driscoll and Mark Nougher.
Paul Carr got a hat-trick, with further strikes from Ian McBane and James Coleman to see Toby overcome Barnston 5-2 in a fine away victory.
Debden Sports banged seven against Coggeshall Town, conceding two in reply. David Limber was in scintillating form as he found the net four times while Andy Hunter scored twice and Matthew Dodds grabbed the other.
Harold Hill beat Westyhamians 3-0 as Steve Demetriou, Joe Galsworthy and Tom Harvey confirmed a convincing home win.
Holders Newbury Forest travelled to Ryan and are into the next round as they came away with a 3-1 victory thanks to goals from Bradley Gates, Toch Singh and Zack Bewley.
Joining Newbury Forest are Ongar Town as they notched a 5-3 win over Brightlingsea Regent Reserves. A Ben Olley hat-trick and one each from Lee Humphrey and Nicky Evans moves Ongar into round three.
A closely fought encounter between Leytonstone United and Tiptree Jobserve saw Leytonstone score through a Dave Jackson penalty and Ian Boxall but Tiptree replied with three in a 3-2 away win.
Another 3-2 away victory saw Buckhurst Hill see off Old Barkabbeyans as Bolaji Olaitan netted twice and Samson King bagged the other.
Manford Way march on as they beat Colne Engaine & Bell United with Lewis Wynter and Joe Lovell on the score sheet.
Newham United rose up the Division Two table after they secured a 4-1 home win against Epping. Samuel Adejoyun scored twice while Ashley Green and Yomi Akosile chipped in with the others for Newham.
Epping grabbed a consolation via Jake Clarke but were unable to prevent a defeat that sees them slip to second in the table.
