Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade said striker Kevin Lisbie was the difference between the two sides as the O's beat Shrewsbury Town 2-1.

The former Charlton striker put Orient ahead from the spot in the first half but Shrewsbury equalised through Jon Taylor in the second and it took a last minute header from to secure the points for the O's.

The result was Orient's first win in five matches.

Slade said: "I've been a grumpy old so and so recently so I'm glad I can talk to the Mrs again now.

"It has been tough, it's been tough on all of us. The fans don't think it's tough on a manager but it is, but we've kept going and we've kept believing.

"Kevin was the difference for us today, there's no doubt about that he's so clever he allows us to push up, he allows our midfielders to get on the ball - he's first class there's no doubt about that.

"There was some realy good play and we created so many opportunities - we deserved it."

The win sees Orient climb to 16th in League One.
