Wanstead Saints came from 2-0 down to beat Havering 3-2 on Saturday with two second-half goals from the Saints.
The hosts started brightly enough, but fell behind when the visitors broke quickly from a Wanstead corner. Havering broke up the other end earned a set-piece of their own, the result of which was a head beyond ‘keeper Mark Scott.
Ten minutes later Havering doubled their lead with a free-kick placed beyond Scott and straight in the corner.
The Wanstead response was instant, Edward O’Neill picking out striker Daryl Townson with a weighted ball before Townson chipped the opposing goalkeeper to halve the deficit.
O’Neill then drew the sides level, first earning, and then converting a penalty after the Saints took the game to their visitors.
With 15 minutes left Wanstead, completed the comeback when Dean Stringer found forward Rob Lydiatt to claim an unlikely victory.
