Bancroft's School Under-19s netball team were crowned Essex Met County Champions after winning all seven of their matches at the national schools competition on Sunday.
The girls overcame three-time county champions Barking Abbey by one goal in the final match of the afternoon to top off an incredible day in which they scored more than a century of goals.
The event was held at Redbridge Sports Centre and the Woodford Green school pupils made light work of beating the other six teams to set up an enthralling final match between themselves and the former champions.
In a close contest, Hazel Ijomah, Christie Chapman and Harriet Stewart shone as they worked tirelessly, turning over the ball and creating opportunities and helped secure a deserved win.
Meanwhile, there was more success for the Under-14s as they lost just one match to finish runners up on goal difference.
The team, mainly made up of Under-13 players, enjoyed great success in their first tournament, with defensive player Sinmi Solanke and shooter Daffofil Dhayaa standing out.
Ella Day and Lizzie Austin showed some great shooting skills as the Under-16s finished fourth overall in their group.
The Under-19 and Under-14 teams have progressed to the regional finals in early February, which are being held at Lady Eleanor Holles School, in Middlesex.
