FC Leytonstone endured League Cup heartbreak as they crashed out on penalties in the second round against Asianos B.
Both sides squandered chances in normal time, with Leytonstone’s Amjad Basher and Asianos’ Adris Hussain both coming out on top in the respective nets.
In extra-time the action sprung into life though as five minutes in, Sergio Garcia broke free for Leytonstone and scored a well taken goal but Asianos substitute Zubair Haleem levelled the scores with a well taken strike soon after.
With the second half of extra time failing to find a winner, the match went to penalties and when Leytonstone missed their first three efforts Asianos scored three in reply to book their place in the next round.
