Essex County League - Premier Division
Walthamstow successfully chased down Ace’s total to secure a three-wicket away victory.
Ace batted first but struggled as the bowling of Saghir Rabbani removed two of the top three for modest scores before Deepan Kandeepan took four wickets for 32 runs to put the hosts in real trouble.
There were also two wickets for Matt Hawkins and one each for Intezar Ijaz and Hamza Mahmood as Ace finished on 149.
Walthamstow made harder work of the chase than they might have liked but Matthew Guest’s 33 and Paul Miller’s unbeaten 36 was good enough to see the visitors through with three wickets to spare.
Walthamstow travel to Goresbrook on Saturday.
