Fourth XI Premier Division
Wanstead & Snaresbrook Fifths were held to a draw by Hainault & Clayhall.
Michael Griesel (65) and Sriram Pathmarajah (62) helped Wanstead post 202 but they were unable to bowl out Hainault, who finished on 105 for five.
Chingford Fourths were just one wicket short of victory as they drew with Woodford Green Thirds.
Daniel Carver (42) and Sourabh Datar (67) helped Chingford set a target of 190 and while Woodford struggled to get near that total, they held on to finish on 125 for nine.
Adil Daniyal took four wickets for Chingford.
Chingford Fourths are away to Stanford Le Hope on Saturday, while Woodford Green Thirds host Pegasus & Corringham Thirds.
Fourth XI Division One
Fives & Heronians Fourths were beaten by one wicket at the hands of Shenfield Fourths.
Fives’ top order all made decent scores in the opening innings, with the home side making 165 all out.
Shenfield started badly but number eight David Castell’s unbeaten 52 turned the game on its head and the visitors finished on 169 for nine to win.
Fives Fourths travel to Wickford Fourths on Saturday.
Wanstead & Snaresbrook Sixths enjoyed a 51-run triumph over Wickford thanks to 68 from Victor Mestre and Tariq Zaman’s excellent bowling, which gave him figures of six for 45.
Old Parkonians Thirds beat Epping Thirds by 74 runs.
Epping elected to bowl and Parkonians seized the opportunity, scoring 251 for the loss of seven wickets.
Epping’s reply fell short as the home side were bowled out for 177.
Epping Thirds face Buckhurst Hill away on Saturday.
Fourth XI Division Three
Chingford Fifths drew with Old Parkonians Fourths after scoring 221 runs with the bat but failing to bowl out Parkonians, who finished on 129 for three.
On Saturday, Chingford Fifths host Hainault & Clayhall Fifths.
South Woodford Fifths were edged out by one wicket against Loughton Fifths.
Irfan Sadiq (65) helped Woodford post an impressive 217 in the opening innings but Loughton were not daunted and Peter Nicholls’ 102 laid the basis for a brilliant chase.
Loughton scored 218 for nine to claim victory.
South Woodford Fifths are at home to Old Parkonians Fourths on Saturday, while Loughton Fifths travel to Ilford Catholic Fifths.
