David Beckham is set to retire from football, according to the Daily Mail.
Born in Leytonstone, Beckham is reportedly about to call time on a career that has included playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy and most recently Paris Saint-Germain.
The 38-year-old has trained with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal to stay fit during the off-season but insisted he would never play for an English team except Manchester United.
Beckham made his debut for the Red Devils in 1992 and went on to captain England and earn 115 caps.
Beckham is reported to be ready to move his family permanently to London where he will continue his off the field duties with SkySports, adidas and Unicef.
