Epping Swimming Club came third in the Essex Swimming League after finishing in the same position in the final round of the league on Saturday in Braintree.
Swimming to first place and therefore achieving maximum points was the girls’ Under-11 freestyle relay team of Amy Woloski, Eleanor Ahern, Roisin Clifford and Alexandra Bibby.
Not to be outdone, the boys’ Under-11 medley relay team of Max Rawlings, Joseph Ahern, George Pigram and Kieran Wakefield also finished in first.
There was also a first place for the Under-13 medley relay team of Dora Zhou, Mia Jones, Amelia Peddle and Connie Knights with an impressive time of 2.19.12.
Zhou went onto win the 50m backstroke in 34.60, while Jones won the 50m breaststroke in 40.96 and Peddle achieved first in the 50m butterfly with 32.38.
Max Rawlings won the Under-11 50m backstroke in a time of 39.30 and Lisa Waite won the Under-15 50m butterfly with 31.49.
In the open category, Ellen Gillespie came first in the 100m breaststroke in 1.25.65 and Peddle won the 100m backstroke with 1.09.22.
