Tottenham are reportedly deep in talks with Barcelona about a £10m deal for striker David Villa.
Villa is desperate to quit the Spanish giants this summer and has made regular first-team football his priority as he looks to cement a place in Spain's World Cup plans.
Barca want £12m for the forward but Tottenham are currently offering £8m plus performance-related add-ons.
Arsenal are also interested in Villa but have been put off by the asking price.
