Lea Valley Football Club finish their season with mixed feelings as the men's first team missed out on promotion but the second team won the London Old Boys Cup.

The first team will not be going up having losing two key end of season games but the seconds had reason to celebrate as despite their average league form they won the London Old Boys Cup with a 5-1 win in the final.

The Under-11s missed out on winning the Echo League title, but went on to win the County Cup 4-1 and the Echo League Cup 1-0.

Several of the boys were also training regularly with Ipswich, Colchester and West Ham, whilst others have sparked interest from Crystal Palace and Brentford.

The Under 10 team managed to finish third in the Cheshunt League.

In the 2013/14 season, the adults will be running two teams in the Amateur Football Combination, the firsts in Senior 3 North and the reserves in Division 7 North.

The youth club will expand into four teams, Under-12s, 11A, 11B and Under-10's, all playing in the Cheshunt Youth League.

As from next season the club will separate the adult sides from the youth sides, meaning they will be affiliated as different clubs, with different committees. There is no doubt however that the two clubs will keep their links.
