Spurs midfielder Lewis Holtby says he is delighted with life in the Premier League and believes he will benefit from having a pre-season before the new campaign.
Holtby made 17 appearances after his switch in January from Bundesliga side Schalke.
"Everything I hoped for has come true," Holtby told the club website.
"I had a really enjoyable second half of the season here, everything happened so quickly, on my second day at the club I made my debut at Norwich.
He added: "It’s important for me now to have a summer break as we then meet for pre-season and go to Hong Kong.
"That will be very important. You adapt more, get to know everyone more and more and that was the only thing I missed when I joined."
