Redbridge moved up to fourth in the Ryman North Division after they completed a 3-1 away victory against Wroxham.
The home side started brightly but they fell behind in the 30th minute when captain Daniel Smith smashed home from a Eliay Worrell corner.
Wroxham equalised before the interval. Joe Marsden converted a penalty after Ross Durrant had been brought down in the area.
Clear-cut chances were at a premium in the second period but when they did arrive the Motormen were clinical.
A lofted Redbridge free-kick into the penalty area deceived everyone and that allowed Patrick Damali to sneak in at the back post and place his header past goalkeeper Luis Tibbles.
Abs Thomson wasted a good chance to add a third for Redbridge when he was played through on goal, however, he lacked composure and sent his shot from 12 yards wide.
Wroxham’s attack seemed bereft of ideas as the game neared its conclusion, with the visitors instead threatening. Smith almost bagged his second but his header from six yards bounced wide.
And it was another set piece that sealed the win for Redbridge. A corner fell to Smith, he laid the ball back for Daniel Tenkorang who coolly placed his effort into the bottom right corner.
The Motormen are at home this weekend as they welcome Thurrock.
